Abstract: In this talk, I will present the study on the valence-quark parton distribution functions within the pion and kaon using a symmetry preserving continuum approach to the two-body bound state problem in quantum field theory. I will show how to determine the value of the hadronic scale, at which scale pion and kaon are purely bound states of dressed-quark and dressed-antiquark. I will then report our calculation of the distributions at hadronic scale and the evolution to two typical scale for comparison with E615 Drell-Yan experiment data, phenomenology and lattice regularized QCD.
